CUSTOM OAK CABINETRY

A custom-designed oak storage unit and integrated bench, developed for a contemporary interior.

The design combines warm wood grain, softly rounded corners and a structured grid of cabinet fronts. A recessed seating area with an upholstered cushion creates a functional extension of the cabinetry, balancing architectural form with everyday use.

Designed as a single composition, the cabinetry and bench bring together storage, seating and carefully considered detailing.

Custom oak cabinetry designed by Flodström Interiors, featuring curved corners, vertically grained wood panels and an integrated bench with a terracotta upholstered cushion.

02 / DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Developed through detailed technical drawings, the cabinetry was designed to integrate storage and seating within a single architectural form.

The drawings establish the proportions, rounded corner, panel divisions and relationship between the cabinet and adjoining bench.

03 / MATERIALS & DETAILS

Natural wood grain and subtle shifts in form define the design. The curved cabinet edge softens the overall geometry, while precisely aligned panel divisions create a quiet, architectural rhythm.
